Raise your right hand and lie

Something I noticed recently… it certainly qualifies are weird, but also a little sad.  The picture on the left is recently “retired” Senator (R) Larry Craig of  Idaho.  Next to him is “retired” Durham County District Attorney Mike Nifong.  Both of these “Gentlemen” have recently left their jobs because, amoungst other things, they don’t appear to be able to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

The Senator who put family values and a pretty solid anti-gay spin on all his work was caught soliciting for gay sex in a men’s washroom in a major Airport.  Mike Nifong is the imfamous Duke rape case prosecutor that didn’t let little things like evidence, a lack of witnesses, or a barely credible “victim” get in his way of lying to the courts and dragging the reputations of some good college boys through the mud.

It would appear that raising your right hand is the first step towards lying to the public.  Don’t beleive me?  Hey, President Bush has done it at least twice.  Read stories of Senator Larry Craig and DA Mike Nifong here.
