Lord Mandelson Covered In Custard

You can file this one in the “stupid idiot protester” bin. British Business Secretary Lord Mandelson was hit with a huge cup full of green custard by a protester from the group Plane Stupid. The group is protesting climate change caused by airplanes, particularly at London’s Heathrow airport. To their credit, I would have never heard of their cause before this.

Stupidly for them, this move also makes me think that are a bunch of idiots unable to have rational discussions. This is nothing more in the end than environmental terrorists at work. They represent a very small percentage of the public opinion, but by protests (including breaking into a secure area at an airport and stopping all flights) and by attacking a member of Parliament, they show that they don’t care about anyone else except themselves. This isn’t the way to get people on your side, not in the slightest. Perhaps they should change their name to Plain Stupid after these protests.

Hopefully a judge in the UK will see this in the same manner and have these fools tossed in the slammer for a while. Read the full story here!
